November 20, 2024 - Urbandub
Just a 6-minute compilation of clips. May kwento pa 'to, and will just put everything including other random photos on my blogspot because i know, it's umay na and why not keep my blogspot updated 'cause old school is cool! 😝
P.S.: This kwento is still in process. Antok na ako. Hahaha. Update ko na lang ito every now and then. Sa ngayon, ito muna.

Just like i promised that i'll be updating this post. So...Urbandub gig. Just a quick background, not about the band but at how i started liking them. Should i say i am a fan? Well, i stan them ever since year 2003 when their Embrace album was released. Most popular song and the first song i liked was Soul Searching. I was first acquainted of this band because of my besfren Jeeboy and his other friends who became also my friends. And the friends of their friends became also my friends and the connection goes on. Hehe. Jeeboy were in a band, so sometimes when they had the chance to play somewhere they were invited to, Jeeboy would sometimes tag me along. Those were the times. Super fun! We were so young during those times! We were in our early 20s. We used to hang out until the year 2010 i guess? And as we grow old, we seldom hang out. Each one of us had to go on with our lives.
Now, Jeeboy and I still hang out until now though not that often but when we see each other, parang kahapon lang kami nagkita. Nothing's changed. Kahit year pa ang nakalipas. Wait, mag-Tagalog na tayo. Ang hirap mag-english eh. So last few months lang, i guess August or September nag announced ang Urbandub on their fb page that they will be having a gig at Baguio on November. So me, not that excited, pero i had this urge na sige why not go to this gig since they are one of my favorite alternative rock local bands. Honestly this was my first time seeing them live though lagi sila dito sa Dagupan every Bangus Festival or during any event na maimbitahan sila, i never go see them live. Unang una, napakaraming tao. I hate the crowds. Kahit na i am from here. Hahaha. Hahaha! Never again. Hinding hindi ako sumasadyang pumunta ng Bangus Fest just to watch my favorite band perform for free! Not in those kinds of set up. Sobrang hasel for me.
This time, sa Baguio naman, alam ko mas chill ang crowd dahil limited lang ang tickets. And i know yung klase ng crowd ng mga taga Baguio. Iba. Mas kumportable. Mas chill. Ewan pero i love the Baguio peeps! Mas civilized! Hehehe! Paumanhin sa mga tao sa baba. Peace.✌️😄 Taga baba din ako. 😆
Anyway, here are the other random pictures taken.
Medyo maaga natapos yung gig. Pasado 10pm? And may dalawang bands pa na nagperform before Udub. Turncoats and Amateurish. Mga tubong Baguio! At ang gagaling nila! See? Mga artists talaga ang mga taga Baguio. Without a doubt.
Hence, the pasta and the refillable brewed coffee sa mga pictures. Pizza Volante pero walang pizza?? Yes, natimingan namin na naubos na ang pizza nila that time and hindi pabraw prepared ang dough. Huhu, sayang.
After having our late dinner, around 1am na yata. Hahaha. Sa 3bu you can spend for as low as 400 per head kapag sa upper bunker from 2pm check in until 12noon on the next day. Basta book early and online to avail their lowest fees.
